P3D A non-editors point of view

Editors of publications have a resource today that they never had before
for finding a great variety of potential articles:
The Internet Web Page.
While it may seem that writing an article based upon an already
published web page is redundant, it isn't. A good editor can read
between the lines and find new questions to ask, and discover other
topics not discussed on the web page after contacting the author.
Searching internet web sites is an easy and effective way to preview the
potential of an article for publishing in a magazine.
The images, and many of the words are already there for the taking (with
permission).
Much of the magazine reading world isn't yet on the internet, so the
articles would be new to them.
I have been suprised by the lack of contact my web site has generated
from editors of publications. My web site has been used by two editors
so far: George Themelis, and John Dennis.
John and George made good use of my web pages on my viewers, I didn't
have to write anything extra. This is the beauty of the concept. No
waiting for deadlines, it's already there!
I would gladly submit articles on my adventures if I could do it
electronically (images and text). I have chosen to use electronic
publishing (web site) to convey my information. I don't make printed
matter to mail.
It's out there for the digital taking.
