P3D 3D-CD FOR... and against

Dan Shelley knows more about this project than anyone else, and his 
enthusiasm is bringing it on..... but he shouldn't get the impression 
that there are no other enthusiasts out here!

Here's a quick review of my reasons for taking so little time to get 
on his list:

FOR:

I see the 3DCD project as gathering much of what is available on the 
web NOW. In 1998. There's some good stuff, and it won't be the same in 
the next millenium. 
I understand that the photo-3d archives will be there. That resource 
alone will make the disc worth it for me. 
Everything else (and there's loads) is an extra. It'll keep me in for 
so many evenings that the cover price will be saved many times over :)



Against:

$30        ;)           huh? what an attitude!
No interest in 3D       Fair argument. Doesn't apply to me.


So there you have it. An independent, balanced view. Well, independent 
anyway. Support the 3DCD!
