P3D Fungus

A few days ago a Realist Ilex Paragon was offerered on Ebay. I was
interested, but before bidding I asked the seller whether there was
fungus on the lenses. He was an honest man: he mailed me there WAS
fungus and he immediately added this information to the text on his Ebay
advertisement. Some bidder{s) let the seller know they were no longer
interested in the camera. However, nevertheless the camera has been
sold  for more than $ 100.-. How is this possible? Isn't it a very
serous problem?
