P3D Sticky Shutter Fix?

Hi all.

This was posted by Tom Deering a week or so ago, along with a question
about lens cleaning fluid.  It caught my attention.

Wow!  What a novel idea.  Most of us use a solvent of some sort.  

Did it cure the sticky shutter?  About how many licks?  

Have you considered making a how-to video?
