Michael,

I am sure someone has the answer. Your story
reminded me of the last time I visited a friend,
who is a motion picture projectionist. In the
booth, he runs the film under a 'Bounce' brand
anti-static sheet as it feeds into the projector.
He says it helps a great deal.
