P3D Stereo Views

Since there has been recent discussion about developing at Price Club
(Costco) I thought I would share this with you.
I ran a roll of print film through my Realist to test exposures and try
my hand at stereo views. I took the exposed roll to Price Club (the one
where I live does an exceptional job and the price is reasonable) for
development. (Last fall, I accidentally sent them a Nimslo roll and got
a print of each neg!) When I returned, they had processed the film but
didn't make prints. I was told there was something wrong with my
camera. It wasn't making full frames. :^) So I explained. . .yada,
yada, yada, and convinced them to make prints. I also asked to speak to
the person making the prints and made sure she understood what I
wanted. Ten minutes later, I had my prints and paid $5.10. He didn't
want to charge me the full price of $5.99 because they couldn't crop
them and had a portion of the left and right neg on one print. I
explained that it was o.k. and I would trim them but he still didn't
want to charge full price. So, I promised to bring back a view to show
what I was doing with them. Not to step on toes, but it shouldn't be
any different (except for the obvious) than mounting stereo slides,
should it? Also, after reading Dan Shelly's post about Friskars, I went
to the craft store and found next to the Friskars, a little clipper that
also cuts rounded corners. Any suggestions about what to use for
mounting board. I remember reading that the Keystone Views were
intentionally curved. Is that what I need to do as well?

Thanks,

Brenda
