Gotcha! ;-) No, I didn't get the current issue today, but rather the
renewal notice (for the NSA membership and Stereo World magazine).
With all the recent talk about content, it was interesting to note
it mentions the following upcoming articles:
DRIVING SOJOURNER ON MARS
An exclusive interview and the inside story of remote stereo imaging.
SINLGE SHEET STEREO TINTYPES
Continuing coverage of one of the most rare type of stereo-views.
6X13 WONDERS
Celebrates a stereo format employed for both transparencies and prints.
IMAX 3-D IN SPACE
Article on filming the Construction of the International Space Station
in stereo.
D.H. CROSS
Documents the life and work of a stereophotographer and musician.
THE REALIST WORLD OF MRS. WINIFRED LOWNES
A selection of best stereos by a world travelling amateur (self
taught) in the 1950s and '60s.
THE STEREO DIARY OF JOHN P. DOREMUS
The experiences of a stereographer, told in his own words, as he
traveled the length of the Mississippi River in his floating
photographic gallery.
So it looks like a nice mix of old and new.
P.S. With regards to history, I always like reading Bob Howard's
posts about stereo camera lenses. Now I wouldn't mind reading
an article like that in Stereo World. :-)
