Rev. Charlie, I don't want to doubt your clear disrciminating vision but
I have seen quite a few people who do not "see" vertical misalignment,
positioning of stereo window, or pseudo stereo. I am not picky. I am
talking about basic mounting misalignments. Some people (especially
beginners) do not see them. We have had cases of people mounting an
entire roll pseudo and being happy with it. I have worked with beginners
showing them vertical misalignment and asking them if they see "the
left image being higher than the right" and they say "no". I have moved
the chips to put the stereo window in different distances from the
camera and these people have no clue... I don't think they see any stereo
window.
To make the long story short, I would like to first see your slides before
I can tell with certainly that you are lucky or just "too tolerant". I
have seen slides mounted in the 50s by Kodak and they are fine (almost
all of them). And I see slides mounted today by Koda*** and they are
a mess. A big difference IMO.

PS. Thank you for your input on "cheap stereo cameras".
