Yeap, that's happened to me a couple of times also. Once they just
developed the film but no prints. Another time they did them and
charged me for normal processing and another time I got them free!
Still I wouldn't want to press my luck and give them my 5p film
to process on purpose. Of course at other locations you might have
better luck. As has been said before, a good rapport with the
film processor goes a long ways.
