I began doing nudes over 40 years ago. The original problem was that the
post office wouldn't deliver mail which was "obscene" (whatever that means)
until the publishers of a nudist magazine took the US postal service to
court and won their suit. The court ruled that the business of the post
office was delivering the mail, not censoring it.
I have been an inveterate user of Kodachrome, and all of my figures were
sent to Kodak for processing. At one time Kodak had a policy which stated
that photos showing the pubic area too prominently would not be returned. I
think that Carrol had one slide which they refused to return, but I don't
recall that I ever did. Now the attitudes are changed, and I'm not sure if
processors would refuse to return anything.
I have some old legal opinions from Kodak way back in my vast files (well,
maybe half vast), but they have no relevance to this era because they go
back to the 50s. In any case, it has been quite a long time since I last
photographed the nude figure, but who knows when I may take it up again....
You should have no trouble with processors IMO.
