To clarify: It is for 3D people who can be tied to Photo-3D somehow
(fellow club members, kids of members, friends of members who are
interested, etc), and to people who submit content. In some cases, clubs
have submitted content, and they want all their members to have a chance
to get it as well. At this point, it is available to all who ask for it
after having heard about it via a P3D member.
To further clarify: It will not be offered in Stereo World for example -
at least not by me. I have promised that it would not be commercially
marketed by me, beyond the scope of this list and where it reaches. As I
said in an earlier note, I would not be surprised if some CD's show up
in the second hand market later on. (At higher prices most likely as
this will be a collector's item for sure... at least IMO.) Again, unless
I am left holding a few ordered/cancelled discs I burn now, will not be
offering them beyond this production run.
In this case, Andrea asked if she could mention the 3D-CD in a club
newsletter, as have a few others, and I said she should feel free. This
exchange is the result. I am just 3 major site conversions and a digest
update away from being ready to start burning copies. Once they are all
burned, the offer is over, again, at least as I am concerned. I figure
that probably gives people about 2 months _AT THE MAX_ to still get in
on the original deal, and then it goes away.
On another note: I believe Andrea chose to write to me via S3D because
my mail service provider has decided to block all incoming mail from any
address at hotmail.com due to that particular company's voluminous
x-rated spams. Because of this, she can not get to me directly - as
might be the case with others choosing to use free e-mail accounts. Some
service providers are starting to just block all mail from some of those
services because of a few bad eggs. Opps, guess that part was more for
SD-3D! =)
