P3D Static Cling

****Michael Amundson writes: While cutting and mounting several
backlogged rolls of film yesterday on my light table, I had a bad case
of static cling. That is to say, the film chips kept clinging to the
light table, to each other, to mounts, etc. A thorough re-cleaning of
the light table helped some, but it was still there. I suppose that my
dry climate here in AZ might contribute to the problem but is there a
safe way to stop this?****

Have you tried running a vaporizor or humidifier in the room where you
are doing your slide mounting? Perhaps using something like Static Guard
spray on your light table and mounting accessories (NOT the
images!)would help.

I use a humidifier all winter because my house is so dry and we use a
wood stove quite a bit. I find this works well. The cats are also happy
because their ears don't get zapped when you pet them! {:>)
