Has anyone out there using a Veriscope? Any comments about quality? I have
seen them, handled them and seen a few slides made with them, but I prefer
Realists and would like to hear opinions. A friend bought one and got a
 grand deal on it.

Yes - I own one. Colin Clay is using it at the moment, but I guess I'll get it
back soon. You see, he's just got his Belplasca working properly...

The lenses on the Verascope F40 are always rated as rather "flat" - but it's
not the lenses fault! The camera suffers from internal flare that can be
easily fixed. Colin rates my camera quite highly, now he's fixed it up and
made a nice lens hood for it.

The most important factor about the F40 - that sets it apart from Realists,
Edixas, Ilocas, Kodaks etc is that it takes 7 perf images!

I prefer the Belplasca, but if you have a Verascope and no Belplasca dont
despise the F40!
