P3D San Diego Stereo Camera Club

The May meeting of the SDSCC took place Wednesday evening at the Photo 
Arts building in Balboa Park.

This months program consisted of the viewing and judging of the PSA
Interclub Competition and the Slide of the Year Competition.  Judges
were Lillian Harris,
Luther Harris and Gary Schacker.  Norm Henkels, formerly (and
currently?) of the Chicago Stereo Camera Club handled projection duties.
The quality of the entries was impressive. Congratulations to all of the
participants.

The club was pleased to welcome two distinguished visitors from the
Chicago Stereo Club.  They were Debra Tyrpak and Steve Dudley, President
and Vice president respectively of the Chicago organization.

I'm pleased to report that the San Diego Stereo Camera Club continues to
regularly achieve attendance figures approximately twice what they were
as little as two years ago.  We now average about 25 persons at regular
monthly meetings.
