P3D Peanut Slave

Well, I got the peanut. . .Where do you plug it in?  
On the box it says Peanut Slave (PN). 
On the back of the box it says:
"The Peanut Slave is small in size, big in performance.
Plugs directly into Vivitar 283/285 strobes and all 
other non-dedicated flash units or cords fitted with a 
standard PC terminal".

Where does it "directly" plug in?
I am using it on a Vivitar 283.
