P3D Brumberger Mounts

I stumbled across a couple boxes of Brumberger 5p mounts this weekend.
They are cad-plated steel and, thus, quite a bit heavier than an aluminum
equivalent.

Does anyone have any experience with these mounts ... anything
particularly good or bad to say about them?
