Alan may mean 24x33mm as that is what a full frame RBT and Spicer stereo
mount measures.
I have to agree with you regarding the extra width. Even 33mm is a bit wide
for me. I recently converted a 2.8 Realist to "full frame" (24x34mm) but
will be using 7-wide (23x31.5mm) mounts as I think they look better than the
33mm wide mounts. Besides, the chips lie flatter in the 7-wide mounts with
the than they do with the 'full frame' mounts.
