P3D Re: TDC Stereo Projector

This is called the "slide carrier" You really need it to project
slides. Usually it is around the projector but it might have
been thrown away from someone who did not realize its function.
It will be very difficult to find another one. Someone made
replacement carriers and Harry Poster was selling those for about
$125. I don't know if he has any left.
The TDC 116 is the most popular stereo projector. You should get
a copy of the instruction manual, or, even better, the book "Stereo
Projection" by Earl Krause, the only book ever published on this
subject exclusively. Dalia sells good reprints of this 1954 book.
Mr. Krause was hired by TDC and lots of the info in the book is
based on the TDC stereo projectors.
I have the same stereo projector and have been enjoying it for
many years now. That's also the projector we use in our club
meetings. I am sure you will enjoy it too!
