I'm glad some one else thought that.  When I saw 'Across The Sea Of Time'
last year I got exactly the same effect.  There are some fast pans in that
film, which looked *horrible*.  I'd assumed that the two views were shot
simultaneously, where the shutter glasses were showing us left-right-left.
Does anyone know if the straight polarised presentations are immune to
this problem?>>

I noticed it, too. I'm sure the Trocadero is using an interlaced (frame
sequential) method. Whatever the glasses system, the strobing effect will be
the same in this case.

I, too, saw some ghosting. And the window violation was much more obvious when
I was sitting at the end of the back row when I saw the preview, than when I
saw in the middle of the back row (paying guest!). I guess that the screen
failed to completely fill my field of view when I sat at the edge. I noticed
on the second viewing that they positioned the audience in the centre (it
wasn't full, but there was a reasonable audience).
