Sorry, but this is absolutely false and without a shred of of a chance
of being either credible or true. Male demos are specified all the time
in agency buys, and sports and local news are huge segments of tv
budgets; these are predominently male or adult categories. Where did you
get this information?

This ad is likely a regional or local spot buy... it is likely just run
in particular markets and so some'll see it and other won't. It is also
likely flighted... run for several weeks/months, rested, then aired
again, possibly in a different daypart; most spots are.
