P3D laptop

I have been lurking on and off out here in never never land and I was
looking for an answer to question about 3D presentations. I hope this
isn't a redundant question:

I would like to use my laptop to display 3D images in a powerpoint slide

show. I travel and need to use this type of presentation. Can it be done

and how?

I have scanners for both slides and prints, what is the "best" way to
use a laptop, powerpoint presentation and a video projector to see 3D
pictures?
