A minimum is a price you start the bidding at. The reserve price is a
hidden price that the seller sets that is the minimum he/she will accept
for the item. IMO this particular idea is the scurge of the devil... Why
not just list the item with a starting point that is the minimum that
you will accept? I have wasted time bidding on items in the past and
even won the auctions, but because I didn't reach the reserve price, so
I did not get the item. What a waste of time for everyone involved!
Anyway it seems the Contura was set with an extremely high reserve and
no one ever got to it with all the bidding that was going on. So, no one
got it...

Done venting now... =)
