P3D SIGHTSEER film format

On various occasions I have purchased both Tru-Vue and True-Vu (UK copy)
viewers and film rolls from John Saddy Stereo Auctions. I was surprised
to find in one True-View film box a stereo film roll that appears to be
based on 4.5 perf. frame size. The film base is clear in nature with
normally spaced perforations both at top and bottom (unlike Tru-Vue/True
View format). It is possible to view in stereo and advance the film in
Tru-View and True-View viewers but with some cut off at edge due to the
different 4.5p spacing of the frames. At first I thought that I had
discovered a difference between the Tru-View and True-View film formats
or viewers until closer inspection revealed that the film I was looking
at was in fact a SIGHTSEER film which made by A.P.I Ltd LONDON (I assume
    UK).

I have never seen or heard of a SIGHTSEER viewer, assuming they were
made and know nothing more about this format. The film roll I have
of Brighton has a candid 1950's look to it which I enjoy. Does anyone
have any more information about the SIGHTSEER film format or viewers ?
