Yes, I noted that as well a month or two ago, thought I had mentioned
that it worked only in one direction, but maybe I didn't. Sorry if I
didn't.

Looks pretty good. Have you tried very many different slides? I've
tried a handful, and some are kind-of okay (like my chicken-slide scan),
but some don't scan very well at all, particularly ones
that are on the dark-side to begin with. Your slide's main subject is
quite bright, for instance.
I've used the same dual-adapter setup you did except my scanner is
a Microtek IIhr .

P.S. - I'll be putting 3D pics on my site before long: digital camera
generated. I've already taken some 3D pictures and used what
I learned in stereo-card mounting class Tuesday (computer
adapted) to produce a printed stereocard that works quite nicely
within my Epson printer's limits. :-)
