Welcome to the group! As for buying that Realist from Dr.T, you couldn't
have bought it from a better "vendor". He provides top notch technical
support, although he doesn't have a toll-free number (yet?)!

Nice story, it seems you have a very conscientious film processor,
although he erred.

That is true.

Your gonna chuck your Argus once you get your Realist. ;-) The only
good thing about the Argus/Loreo is that no mounting is required and
any film processor can handle it. If your going to take prints with
your Realist (which it does very well), I would take them to the
processor who developed your Argus prints so "diligently". If they
went to the trouble to do them as half-frames they might handle your
slightly larger than half-frame Realist prints. You'll have to do
your own mounting as opposed to the Argus.
If your going to do slides then any processor will handle them,
although you have to tell them not to cut them. If you don't want
to mount them yourself you can send it off to Kodak.
As for discussions on the Argus (was known as a Loreo before), if
you check the archives you'll find quite a bit of discussion on it.
