Thanks Lawrence - Mine is currently being forwarded from Montana, so it
takes awhile. I noted that in a past recent issue, there was an article on the
"minimalist" commercials now being shown - those with pure white backgrounds,
such as the GAP ads, and the Volkswagon ads. They mentioned the "dolly motion"
effect on the GAP ad, but totally botched the technical explanation - they
said it was done by using two cameras and merging the images (if so, call
the patent attorney!).
I'll take a careful double look (slight pun :-) at the June 26 issue
when the stage pulls in here from Montana!
