P3D Re: "novice" vs. "master"

Andrea discusses the possiblity/benefits of having two classes in
stereo competitions, for master vs. novice categories.

Because of a generally low level of participation, this division
might be a luxury for many clubs.  What we (Ohio Stereo Photographic
Society) did was to have a special trophy for the best "beginner"
worker.  We left it up to each member to declare themeselves as
a beginner but we gave them the guideline "someone who has been
taking stereo pictures for less than three years".  At the end,
the same person (Mark Dottle) won 3rd overall place and best
beginner award, and also the Slide of the Year and two HMs were won 
by beginners.
