Has anyone used these for stereoscopic or know if there are any similar
products already out there?

Video Goggles on Sale in Japan

TOKYO (AP) - Tired of watching shows on a small TV screen? A Japanese
company might have just the thing for you: goggles that make movies
appear to be shown on a big screen.

The goggles, called Eye-Trek, will hit the Japanese market Saturday at
the suggested price of $480, the Olympus Optical Co. said.

When the goggles are plugged in to a TV set, video player or video game,
images look like they're on a 62-inch screen, Olympus said.

Movie buffs aboard a train or plane can watch films without interfering
with others by connecting the device, which weighs less than 4 ounces,
to a portable televison, the company said.

Eye-Trek has been provided to first-class passengers of Japan Airlines
since May.
