Well, I am going to say it again, even though everyone
ignored it the first time:
If you mask the screen, projection adjustments can correct
all mounting
errors other than rotational ones.
I grant you that, with tightly composed shots, the
photographer's intention
may be slightly compromised by this approach--and it
certainly should not be used
in contest projection.
But for occasions where folks of various degrees of
competence and craftsmanship
just want to get together and share their pictures, it is a
good solution--expecially
when vertical errors are evident.
