Good point, Bob!  In fact I have a set of those for my SLR, and
have done a (very little) bit of experimenting with them for
macro stereos.  Unfortunately they weren't with me at the time.
Out of laziness, or from being brain-washed by the no-camera-
bag crowd on the list, (or some combination of the two), I did
not take my camera bag with me on that 8 mile mountain stroll!  :(
