I have made stereocards in the past. I would use print film in a
Realist, send it to Grand Photo in Ohio and mount them up in Q-vue
foldover mounts. I enjoyed the results. It's easy to have reprints made
to send to relatives who have viewers. I even did some B+W infrared with
interesting results. It seems more people are familiar with cards than
they are with transparencies. One nice thing about cards is that you can
sort through a pile and know what they are without having to put each
one in a viewer. Has anyone ever seen an opaque projector to project
stereocards. I think they could be made very easily using reflected
light through polarizers.
