This hit me, and it took a bit to be able to write about it.... 

I have just recently had a chance to actually see one of Noel's films -
and was very impressed!

I also spent some time chatting with him via e-mail recently to help him
fix a few problems with his web site. I found them while downloading a
copy of it all for the 3D-CD project. He was a very friendly fellow,
very easy to talk to, and a great lover of 3D. He will be missed. I wish
I could have gotten to know him more.1

I spent time yesterday looking at his 3D images, and watching his little
movie on the 3D-CD. I feel lucky to have that to remember him by, and am
deeply saddened that he is gone...
