<< Subj:         Noel's Obituary

 Archambault, Noel Gerrard -- 37 -- died suddenly on June 26, 1998 in an

aircraft accident while filming in the Galapegos Islands for IMAX
Corporation.
He is survived by his father, Richard, mother, Pat, sisters Michelle
Thompson
and Marie, brother Adrian and fiancee Cara Burres. Noel's specialty was
3D
IMAX with many well know works circulating in IMAX theatres.  He is
fondly
remembered by many friends and relatives.

 A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, July 8, 1998 at the
UBC
Botanical Gardens Reception Center, 6804 S.W. Marine Drive.  A private
funeral
will follow at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations to a Noel
Archambault Scholarship Fund in Film at Simon Fraser University would be
