Yeah, I saw it and was kind of surprised nobody metioned it on the
list. 3D's bustin' out all over!

Another way to describe the situation is to say that one pair is set
up for "parallel" viewing and the other for "cross-eyed". But an
unintentional error seems to be the cause alright.

Sure, you could write! You also might want to tip them off that the
device used for viewing stereo prints is not a stereopticon, but a
stereoscope. A steropticon is an old projection device having nothing
to do with 3D.
Did anyone recognize the photographer? Is he known to this 3D
community?
