Bob Maxey writes about A Minox film cutter to cut down larger format stereo
chips to fit VM reels. I have not his experience, and have never seen a
Minox cutter that is adjustable to VM size. I wonder why Minox would make
such an instrument (I wish they had). Their film is nominally 9.5 mm wide
(in reality even less); the picture area normally 8x11 millimeters.
 But I share Bob¥s and others interest in a solution of the problem. When I
eventually do something with my pile of larger chips, I think Dr T¥s idea
seems most pratical.
