This may start an unnecessary thread, but here goes anyway...

I've never seen "Howard the Duck" (I believe only about two dozen people have) but I do know that some of it was filmed here in Petaluma, California. George Lucas and Skywalker Ranch are in Marin County just next door, and his Industrial Light and Magic labs are in San Rafael, just down the highway. Petaluma, and the local area, are used in many of the scenes.

Petaluma is the birthplace (so to speak) of the egg incubator, but to my knowledge, it has never discussed commemorating Howard, or any other duck for that matter, although we recently hosted part of an "American Grafitti" special to be shown on TV someday (Lucas used Petaluma for many of the scenes in that movie).

Petaluma is also the home of the International Wristwrestling Championships, and we DO have a statue commemorating this honor.

Okay, okay... to wrap this up in a 3D thing, Bill Hamilton and I are considering putting together a Stereo Photography group of some kind for those of us "north of the Golden Gate." It would perhaps be a cross between the Rabbit Hash club and the Cleveland club but that is open to discussion. We would, of course, have a float in the annual Butter and Egg Days parade!
