Or, you could buy yourself a Wein "HS" (Hot Shoe) slave for $30 from B&H
photo in New York. This tiny unit has a tripod-mount 1/4"-20 socket on
the bottom and a hot shoe on top. Any hot shoe-mount flash will work
with it, and it even has a PC connector in case your flash only has a
cold shoe and a PC cord. The slave sensor can point forwards or
backwards as necessary. It's advertised to work up to 150' from the
primary flash.
I have a couple and they work great. For what it's worth.
