Regarding names and signatures. Some terminology - although the
originating *address* will always be shown in the header (unless they
are turned off in your mail reader or are coming from a spammer to cover
his tracks). However, the *name* is not guaranteed - it's a function
of the mail sending software.

I don't object to ending signature lines (or even multiple ones, within
reason) but if they are too complex, it tends to generate false "hits" when
using the search engine on the archives.
