Like you, Joseph, I am also new to this list, and this is my first
posting.  I share your dismay over the fact that most people do not
display any interest in stereo images. Given a choice I'd rather see a 3D
photograph of someone's back yard,  their neighbor's cat, or the most
mundane events in their life than the most majestic 2D view imaginable.
This is because the 3D brings with it feeling tones and elements than go
beyond the visual . . . it provides a truer glimpse into another's world.
