 This sounds similar to a problem I have with my Fed although at the moment
I am still only losing the last five pairs or so from a 36 film. First some
frames fail to wind on fully then there is a blank section. However the Fed
is I believe designed to slip at the end of a film when the resistance is
high enough. It seems that some tension has been lost so that it slips to
soon I have  tried to find a screw on the spool as decribed for the
Colorist but there does not apear to be one.   P.J.Homer
