This would be caused by the setting of the flash contacts (unless you are
violently pounding the whole rig during the picture-taking process :-)
Simply remove the bottom cover and tweek the contacts a bit with needle-
nosed pliers.  NOTE:  With the shutter of a Personal un-cocked it is
normal for the flash contacts to close when the shutter button is
pressed, so don't worry if you observe that.
