P3D REVIEW: Boris Starosta's computer generated 2x2x2 slides

Folks,

I recently received the computer generated art slide set that
Boris Starosta (boris@xxxxxxxxxxxx) had advertised on sell3d. All
I can say is *wow*. The images are sharp and colorful. While it
is obvious, by the nature of the images more than anything else,
that these slides are computer generated, the quality of the image
appears (to my eyes) to use the full resolving power that the film
media can provide. There is no hint of pixilation or other
computer artifacts. The one exception is the "Pixie" image which
uses both a photographic image as well as computer generation.
Only a close inspection reveals that the special effects were
*probably* done digitially rather than with more conventional
    techniques.

The slides themselves are in 2x2x2 format in plastic mounts.
There was no problem opening the mounts, so I remounted all of the
landscape format slides in full-frame RBT mounts. I was even able
to peel the labels off the original mount and place them on the
RBTs. These slides are *very* impressive in my Realist
super-Themelized (i.e. full frame) Red Button viewer. (Once again
-- thanks George!!) I can't wait to show these slides off. The
remaining portrait oriented images (4 if I recall) can only be
viewed in a 2x2x2 viewer. A Realist viewer can `sorta' be made to
work with these, but you can only seen the botton 2/3rds of the
image. I don't have a 2x2x2 viewer yet but plan to pick one up to
keep handy for things like this.

                                                Later.....BC
