Yes! I recently tried to look at some cartridges that I hadn't used
for a few months & very single one jammed towards one end of the film.
After several minutes of shaking, whacking on my palm, and
advancing/re-winding the film with a toothpick I was able to get them
working again, though the motor still whines a bit louder at that end.
I think film archivality/collectibility is not going to be much of an
issue with these things; I'll be amazed if any of them still work
after 5 years...
