Well, like the old Rambler/Studebaker joke goes:

"I used to use a beamsplitter....until I got a job".

Actually, with the high price of good quality new beamsplitters now,
it's hard to imagine why someone would buy it now.

I still have a Pentax unit, and use it rarely on a Polaroid Color Pack
camera. Great for instant stereo.

I never liked the results of a splitter used on a 35mm camera. I have
tried prints and slides. There is too much distortion using this
approach, viewing can be uncomfortable, unless using the Pentax slide
viewer.

The use of mirrors on a camera such as the Argus (Loreo) is a much
better concept, if carried out properly (which it wasn't).

Has anyone put Nimslo lenses into a Loreo yet, or do I have to do it
first! ;-)

Maybe putting the Loreo mirrors on a Nimslo is a better idea.
