Thank you Bob, for correcting my sloppiness in omitting "of America". No
question that The Stereoscopic Society is a GREAT organization since it was
the parent of The Stereoscopic Society of America, which as the daughter,
is almost as GREAT and almost as INTERNATIONAL. Incidentally, SSA has
folios that circulate in Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand. And here
is an interesting anecdote: I got a letter from a gentleman in London dated
June 23rd, who among other things says: "Attempts on my part to get in
touch with the Stereoscopic Society in England have proved unsuccessful." 
I wonder...

Since The Stereoscopic Society will not have a table in Richmond, I invite
you Bob to stop by our table once or twice during your stay and be on hand
to tell interested individuals about The Stereoscopic Society.

Yes, I am a proud member of both organizations, and also a member of NSA,
PSA, ISU, and CSC, (that last one is our local club in Portland, Oregon,
USA.) Know of any more to join?
