P3D Lens separation

I've been lurking here a couple of months now, thought I would join in on the
lens separation topic. Just imagine what you could do with a little "scissors
extender" linking a pair of Minolta Dimage V detachable lenses! As the
resolution of digital cameras improves, stereo buffs might find a full spectrum
of opportunities for lens spacing from hypo- through hyperstereo at the flick of
a switch! Also, has anyone tried glueing together the bases of two disposables,
just to see what might happen? This would be a nightmare in image sorting if
you ever took more than one shot of a subject, but it might be useful in an
emergency situation where you had left your stereo camera at home. Maybe
double-sided tape would be better than glue as you'll have to separate the
cameras later to have the film processed. Not all ideas are worth the paper
they're written on! --George Spangler
