P3D Things to do in Richmond

For those of you attending the NSA Convention in Richmond, I just found out that there is also a showing of Winston O Link photographs at the Virginia Historical Society. 

This isn't really a stereo topic but his early photographs (B&W) of steam trains in this area are quite remarkable. Rather than shoot his subjects in full daylight he used hundreds of flashbulbs to expose and control the content of his photographs. His subjects are primarily the trains but at the same time he was able to create a slice of life of what it was like to live with steam trains in your town, backyard or country side.
