This is how I started my stereo photography, and I thought it worked fairly
well.  I was inspired to try it after visiting this site:

I did set up my disposables as vertical format - a better format for stereo
pictures, I believe.  I lashed them together using some long zip ties.  Two
fingered shutter synch.
