Which leads me to my own problem - horizontal scratches on my slides with
no obvious corresponding points on the parts of the interior causing them.
I'm not yet sure whether they're on the emulsion side or back of the film.
They also don't always occur. I'm thinking that the rewind mechanism on my
Revere isn't releasing properly, and the film is tighting up before/during
rewinding and that is the cause of the scratches. I think it's time for a
cleaning and shutter check (although the exposures seem to be OK - and I
do use a meter). Who might be the best person to send the camera to for
the above?
