I just noticed that the noted Herbert McKay, in his oft re-printed
stereo glossary, called "interocular" the spacing of the eyes, not the
lenses.  Exactly the opposite of the usage we've been advocating and
seen elsewhere. And I slipped and used it that way in my last posting.
 Humpty may survive after all.
